Kaulkin Ginsberg Executives Receive National Honor as Most Influential Professionals in the Collection Industry

November 17, Las Vegas, NV: Collection Advisor magazine has announced its selection of the 50 Most Influential Professionals in the Collection Industry for 2005. Among the honorees are the principals of Bethesda-based Kaulkin Ginsberg Company; Marvin Kaulkin, Founder & Chairman and Mike Ginsberg, President & CEO.

Award recipients were nominated by their peers and represent the best of the best in the industry, chosen for their years of leadership and insight. "On behalf of the magazine, we are very pleased to bestow this honor on these very worthy professionals," said Collection Advisor Editor/Publisher T. Allen Rose. Profiles of Mr. Kaulkin and Mr. Ginsberg will be featured in the magazine's January/February 2006 issue.

Marvin Kaulkin founded Kaulkin Ginsberg Company in 1989 as a middle market mergers and acquisitions advisory firm. He has held leadership positions in many industry associations, including Institute of Merger and Acquisition Professionals (IMAP), the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), and the American Collectors Association (ACA). Marvin is considered an expert in the field of middle market mergers and acquisitions, and has authored many articles on this activity and on the affairs of the debt collection industry.

Mike Ginsberg spearheads all of the firm's advisory business practices, directing a team of professionals that has completed over 100 transactions ranging from minority sales to complete buyouts. Mike has served as a board member of IMAP, and also holds membership in the ACG and the ACA. He also serves as an industry expert witness, and sits on the advisory boards of several associations and publications. Over the years, Mike has been a keynote speaker at numerous industry meetings and conventions.

This is the first year the magazine bestowed an honor of this kind on members of the collection profession. Award recipients were announced at the Collection Advisor Technology Expo, held November 16-18 in Las Vegas.
