June 23, 2009: Rockville, MD – The top places to work in the debt collection industry will be honored again this year by insideARM.com, a leading website for the account receivable management industry (ARM). The second-annual Best Places to Work in Collections program is conducted by insideARM.com in conjunction with Best Companies Group.
“In a tough economy, it’s important to celebrate the best practices that make ARM companies successful,” said Stephanie Eidelman, Publisher of insideARM.com, adding that there is a strong correlation between employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and company success. Every participating company receives a free overview report of their employees’ responses – valuable input to help improve morale and engagement. “Asking for honest, anonymous feedback during difficult economic times also shows genuine concern for employees,” she added.
Participating companies are first evaluated on workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. Then, employees complete an anonymous survey. The combined scores determine the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group manages the registration, survey, and analysis process and determines the final rankings.
The program is open to debt collection agencies, debt buyers, collection law firms, and the recovery departments of creditor organizations. They must employ at least 15 people in their company or collection department, maintain a U.S. facility, and have been in business for at least a year. Nominations will be accepted through July 17, 2009, and winners will be announced in December.
