March, 2009

A New Look

This issue of Insight has a new look – we’ve combined resources with our sister company,
insideARM.com.  It’s part of our ongoing mission to assist you in making strategic business decisions by bringing you the very best analysis and information available.

In this issue of Insight, we’re taking a new look at trends in credit card portfolio pricing –of particular interest to debt buyers and credit issuers as they look ahead to the rest of 2009.  Director Mark Russell provided a highly-popular pricing analysis last year, and after last month’s DBA conference, he decided it was time to release an update of the data.  He’ll also be discussing these and other trends in more detail in an upcoming Executive Conference Call later in March (Visit http://www.insidearm.com/go/executive-conference-calls for more information).

If you manage a recovery network, today’s economy is forcing you to take a fresh look at your strategy.  Also in this issue, Director Paul Legrady’s offers recovery managers suggested best practices for working with agency partners – information that will be useful for agency operators to understand as well.

Earlier this month, insideARM.com saluted the top-ranking companies in our first annual Best Places to Work in Collections contest.  In this issue, insideARM.com’s publisher Stephanie Eidelman takes a look at the attributes of these high-ranking companies that may be helpful in determining priorities to improve employee satisfaction at your own company.

What other areas of your business warrant a new look?  As always, your thoughtful feedback is important to me, so feel free to tell me what you think.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Mike Ginsberg

P.S. Meet us at the show!

Later this month, our team will be on hand at the National Collections and Credit Risk conference in Orlando, and then at ACA’s March for Success conference in Las Vegas.  If you will be at one of these shows and would like to schedule a time for a confidential meeting, contact Michael Lamm at 240-499-3808 or by email.
