When is the Index updated?The economic information incorporated into the Index is updated with different frequencies.

Since the information included in the Index is released at different times, the Index will be updated according to the following guidelines:
- The Index is updated during the second week of each quarter, describing the period for which the most recent economic information is available. For example, when the Index will be updated in the middle of May, the Index's performance during March will be reported.
- Quarterly data is included in the Index during the three months after its release. For example, the number of bankruptcy filings reported during the first quarter of the year will be released in the second quarter. That information will be incorporated into the Index in August.
- After the Index is updated every quarter, revised economic information is not incorporated into the Index retroactively.
