Overview
What does the Index describe?The Index presents an overview of the broad economic conditions in which ARM companies operate. It is based on seven macroeconomic factors that directly impact the ARM industry, not on the financial results or operational metrics utilized by ARM companies. Also, measurements of the number and volume of mergers and acquisitions in the industry have not been incorporated into the Index.
However, since macroeconomic conditions provide the context in which ARM companies operate, industry owners and managers may see some correlation over time between the movement of the Index and their overall perceptions of business conditions.
