David Lavine

David provides business valuation and advisory services to select clients. He regularly contributes to insideARM.com, where he writes analysis articles and is quoted for his insights.

While at Kaulkin Ginsberg, David also served as a Founding Director of Eagle Bank, a national banking institution, and in 1998 assisted with its successful initial public offering. From 1996 to 1998, David was the President and CEO of the American Bagel Company, franchiser of the Chesapeake Bagel Bakery chain (largest privately owned chain).

In 1998 David divested himself of the Chesapeake units with the exception of the local stores which he continues to own. David retired as a Senior Partner of a National Accounting Firm in 1996. His 16 years of public accounting practice were concentrated in syndications, valuations, due diligence and litigation consulting, merger and acquisitions, transactional planning and auditing of middle market entities.

David received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Baltimore in 1983, and also earned his Maryland CPA in 1983.
