Identifying Opportunity in Emerging Markets

April 12th, 2010

To invest, or not to invest?
Kaulkin Ginsberg can help you decide.

Challenge:
A private equity firm with more than $500 million under management was considering an investment in a collection agency that collects overdue parking tickets. Before putting money to work, the firm’s partners wanted to learn more about the size, growth, and overall potential of this market segment.

Solution:
We worked with the firm to design and conduct a custom research project on the municipal parking collection market.  Due to our extensive contacts within the industry, we were able to quickly identify companies that are active in this segment. We also spoke to more than 50 municipalities that outsource collection activities to private companies.

Our research identified market trends as well as potential business partners for our clients — information that continues to support their investment strategy.

What can we do for you?
